Failing Spartak Terry became the coach of the Chelsea. What is the memory of participating in the project

He made a final decision regarding his future activities. According to the British publication The Mirror, the 37-year-old Englishman will end his football career and will return to the “blue” structure, where he will become the coach of the youth team.

It is noted that Terry will lead the “youth team” of “Chelsea” under the age of 23 years.

In this post, he will replace Jody Morriss, who, in turn, will begin working together with another legendary Chelsea footballer and former England midfielder who heads the Derby County.

According to a source, Terry will earn £ 800 thousand a year as the head coach of the blue youth team. At the same time, the term of the agreement was not disclosed.

Recall that in early September this year, around the English defender there was a lot of talk about his move to Russia. In particular, it was reported that Terry could pursue a career in Moscow Spartak.

The 37-year-old defender, who is in the status of a free agent, was actively negotiating with the red and white, and even gave preliminary consent for the transfer. According to several media reports, Terry agreed with Spartak a contract for € 1.8 million per year, but then demanded to increase the annual salary by almost half. The fact of the negotiations and even the Englishman obtaining a Russian visa was confirmed by the football agent Marco Trabucci, who has carried out more than one transfer in the camp of red and white over the past two years.

“The negotiations are over. Yesterday, the player received a Russian visa. We are only waiting for John's final decision. What is the main difficulty? Obviously, for John’s family, a trip to Russia is a big question. The Terry family lived all their lives in London, except for the last year when John lived in Birmingham.

As soon as the moment of departure to Russia began to approach, the family began to doubt more and more ”,

In the end, Terry decided to stay in London and refused to go to, explaining this with family circumstances.

“After much deliberation, I decided to reject the offer of Spartak. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Spartak and wish the club and its fans all the best this season. This is an ambitious club, and I am very impressed with its professionalism. After discussing this transition with my family, we decided that this was the wrong step for us at this time. Good luck, Spartak

- Terry wrote on his Instagram.

By the way, interestingly, now this post on the Englishman’s social network has been deleted.

In addition to the option of moving to the Russian capital, Terry was seriously considering the possibility of starting coaching, which he himself spoke about.

“I still have not decided what will happen next. My ultimate goal is to become a coach, and this is what I work with young people at Chelsea.

I spent seven wonderful weeks with my family, I managed to do this for the first time in 22 years. I trained every day, kept fit in case any option appeared. I am still waiting. I haven’t decided yet, but I’m happy to work on getting a license now, ”the Englishman said.

I am still training professionally, preparing for the Russian championship and international starts.
There is great interest in training runners on the track for medium and long distances, as well as runs. If you want to not only run and overcome the distance, we are on your way. I am fond of a series of starts of the Moscow marathon. I regularly follow new trends in the development of running for both professionals and amateurs.
I prefer to train in Meshchersky park (a great place for jogging) in fine weather, if possible in the stadiums of the south-west of Moscow and New Moscow.

The other day, the film “Director" and the film by director and actor Danila Kozlovsky is being released. On April 12, a closed display of the picture will be held in the capital's cinema "October". Among the invited are the stars of domestic cinema and Renat Sokolov, the former goalkeeper of the Ulyanovsk Volga, who played one of the roles in the film.

Recall that Sokolov defended the colors of the Ulyanovsk Volga several years ago, when the team fought for access to the first division. True, then it was not possible to achieve the goal: at the end of the season the goalkeeper moved to Tyumen, then to the Far East SKA-Eneriya and, finally, to Moscow Veles, which he left this winter. Rumor has it that the break with the last goalkeeper team is partly due to the participation of Sokolov in the film project. But Renat himself does not extend this topic, assessing his current situation in life philosophically "it happened and is better."

About a year ago, a casting girl wrote to me that they are looking for professional football players to shoot in the film of Danila Kozlovsky. And, if it is interesting to me, they want to invite me to the casting .. - I went to the casting at the stadium in Strogino, and two weeks later I was offered to play the role of goalkeeper. Much later, I found out that there were more than 500 applicants for my role! I have not had such competition in any professional club.

Filming began in April last year - the height of the football season. How did you manage to combine training and games with work on the film?

The club management met me when they provided the shooting schedule. In total there were 40 shooting days in which I participated. They worked in Khimki and Ramenskoye, Moscow Region, as well as in Novorossiysk and Krasnodar. At first I did not realize the seriousness of this project, which brought together the best Russian cameramen, assistants, and costumers. I didn’t understand all the coolness ... It only dawned on me how lucky I was.

- What is the movie about, actually?

About the life of a football team that goes through many difficulties and eventually becomes a real team. I played the goalkeeper of this team. By the way, I didn’t really have to get used to the role. As they say, he played himself.

“And what is the actor’s bread like?” Is it comparable with the difficulty of a professional football player?

It’s hard, it’s hard. The standard shooting day lasted 12 hours, it used to work for 13-14 hours. Sometimes filming took place from evening to morning. And I admit frankly, I didn’t get such physical activities as on the set in any professional team. Legs swelled from a long stay in boots. Training lasts one and a half to two hours, and here I had to walk for half a day in sports shoes! In addition, filming began in April, when it rained with snow. The same scene was shot in multiple takes - from one camera, from another camera, first a shot of one size, then another size. But it was very interesting. Particularly surprised by the charge and professionalism of Danila Kozlovsky. He was both a director and an actor. He himself was shot, he himself explained to the operators how he would like to see the scene in the frame, he ran, rushed. From him came a crazy energy that charged us, the other participants in the project. In addition, the family atmosphere that Kozlovsky created again was remembered. When parting, when the project was completed, many did not hold back emotions, cried.

- The team in which you worked consisted only of professional football players?

No, of course, about half are actors who had soccer skills. In addition, they trained additionally. There were professional footballers - among them the well-known Dmitry Sychev, as well as Alan Gatagov, who played for Moscow Lokomotiv, Dynamo and other clubs of the Russian Premier League. He became friends with them. Despite the fact that the same Sychev, for example, played for the national team and for foreign clubs, he does not have any stellar illness - they communicated on equal terms. In their free time, they went together to the gym, pool, cafe.

- With what feelings are you waiting for the release of the film?

The excitement above all. I'd like to see what happened in the end. I haven’t seen the whole movie yet, only the fragments that I voiced in the studio.

- What is the memory of participating in the project?

Gloves, boots, goalkeeper's sweater, in general, the whole form in which it was removed. Of course, I will not play it. She will stay at home as a keepsake.

No one will explain.

I'll try:

Reputed as a good helper,
And he worked as the main one.
No, I didn’t drink, and I did not row.
In general, the trainer is a reference.

“Palych”, as he was respectfully called in Magnitogorsk back in the gaming period, a man who knows hockey perfectly. He won everything with Metallurg, and during the time he worked as a mentor to Valery Belousov, he was one of the hockey players whom the coach praised. Thanks, of course, to gaming intelligence - a thing that is not given to everyone.

You can start listing the biography of Sokolov. Here and “Magnitogorsk” and “Motorist”. There are even four years at Ak Bars Belov and Bilyaletdinov and the final Khanty-Mansiysk siren, which lasted three months. At Ugra, the mentor first became the main one. Unsuccessfully. It could not be successful there.

Andrey Sokolov's specialization is work with defenders. In any case, Valery Belov had such a need for it. They say that Bilyaletdinov did not have such a need, so as long as he had the patience, he worked so much. Nearly two seasons, after which he went to the Ezovskys, whose need the Ugra leadership already had doubts about. In Russia, they are quickly resolved by dismissal, and Pavel Pavlovich left after the start, and Sokolov, who replaced him, before the New Year. With him, the northerners scored a grandmaster 31 points in 31 matches - a result that allows you to fight for 26-28 places in the championship.

Sokolov is not the head coach, and whether it will become him is not our story. Now he is an assistant to Anvar Gatiyatulin. The third assistant, without touching the goalkeeper's mentor Konstantin Shtrakhov, video coach Vladimir Gaponov and physical fitness coach Vadim Gudzik. Total - seven. A figure close to the one Andrei Nikolishin dreamed of. SKA, by the way, also has seven. Magnitogorsk has six.

Entertaining arithmetic. The Moscow variant is straightforward, when the refrigerator is empty, and you buy on the latest Livays for $ 400 and stay in trendy Livays, but with an empty stomach. There is no money for the scout service, but there is a new assistant. Fortunately, there was someone to advocate.

To find and attach friends-comrades is sacred. After last season, a hail of goals poured on Gatiyatulin’s coaching staff, and there were groundless rumors about one dismissal. Point, but due to an internal reason that did not happen. Deciding not to create tension, the Magnitogorsk “minds” simply took and signed Sokolov. They’ve been together since first grade. We understand.

In any normally functioning system, the habitat principle is usually secondary, but not in the HC, where it determines its own identity precisely by geographical feature. Today we see not Sokolov for tasks, but tasks for Sokolov, which, if they are thought up, are unlikely.

The problems of the Gatiyatulin team were exposed in the playoffs, and only a person who will take on tasks, and not vice versa, can quickly solve them.

And Andrei Sokolov himself, who can be respected for a lot, has nothing to do with it.

The first regularly legalized coach at Dynamo Moscow was Alexei Sokolov. But the responsibilities of the club’s first full-time coach included organizational and educational work in all five club teams of the Moscow organization. The whole day, from early morning to late evening, he was forced to be on the field, working with a large group of successive football players. So you will not envy our first football coaches, their loads were almost extreme. And although he quickly found assistants in the person of the leading players of the team, who were instructed to work with junior team players (for example, V. Smirnov coached the club’s fifth team, V. Pavlov worked with the fourth, V. Teterin with the third, and S. Ivanov - from the second), there was no end to work, especially when you consider that he was still an active athlete, played for the second and third club football teams, the first Dynamo volleyball teams (where he became the country's champion in the Moscow team in 1933 and 1934, was a multiple champion the city in the "Dynamo"), basketball, rugby, hockey. In these sports, he also repeatedly won the title of champion of the city in the Moscow Dynamo.

As you can see, the first full-time Dynamo coach was a famous athlete. In those same years, he was actively involved in refereeing in various sports, was a judge of the All-Union category in rugby and
Secretary of the main panel of judges of the All-Union Spartakiad 1928. After graduating from a medical institute and in 1932 - GTsOLIFK, he becomes a certified specialist in the field of sports medicine and sports, begins to engage in organizational and coaching in football during the same years. In 1932-1935 he was involved as a doctor and one of the coaches to work with the USSR national team. In 1935 he was elected chairman of the football section of the USSR.

In the Dynamo team, he begins to deeply deal with the issues of educational and methodological training of football players, the issues of injury prevention, and the properly organized nutrition of athletes. He organized and conducted the first regular comprehensive medical examinations of football players, as a result of which scientific recommendations were developed on individual physical and especially football work to improve technical and tactical actions, a set of measures was developed to strengthen the nutrition of football players depending on their energy costs during training and matches, developed recommendations on the regimen of classes and rest of football players, recommendations on warming up before training and the match and to prepare specific muscle groups to avoid possible injuries and much more.

The great training, scientific, methodological and medical work he conducted in 1933-1934 convinced the Dynamo leadership that with a serious and deep approach to the game, one coach is clearly not enough, that the main, first club team needs its own special coach. And already in 1935, A.A.Sokolov was entrusted with coaching with the second club team, which in those years brought together football players who could eventually replace the main masters in the team. A year later, this team began to participate in the USSR Cup, playing under the names Dynamo-2 and the Dynamo youth team. Such famous players as Arkady Chernyshev, Alexander Myshlyaev, Georgy Demin, Victor Novikov, Viktor Sokolov, Arkady Pruger, Nikolai Belousov, Gavriil Kachalin, Vsevolod Radikorsky, Nikolai Postavnin, Nikolai Morozov played in it.

In subsequent years, A.A.Sokolov successfully coached the Dynamo team (Tbilisi), then worked in the leading organizations of Soviet football.
