Market capitalization as a method of valuing a company

Market capitalization, along with annual income and the sum of all assets, is one of the methods for assessing the investment attractiveness of a company.

Using market capitalization to reflect company size is important because company size is a major factor in determining the various characteristics that investors are interested in, including risks.

Being a product of the number of shares and their value, market capitalization is not the price at which the owner will necessarily sell his company.

Despite the fact that companies are overvalued by the market or vice versa underestimated, in order to get the real value of the company, it is necessary to consider its activities from a fundamental point of view.
